Vaccine access has been concentrated in just a few countries, with more than 100 nations so far receiving none while access within more fortunate countries has left many behind. Around the world People’s Vaccine Global Day of Action is mobilizing in person and across social media to raise public outcry. In the U.S., one demand is for President Biden to support a waiver on World Trade Organization (WTO) intellectual property rules that are blocking global production of desperately needed Covid vaccines and treatment.
