Books, Technology, Closures and Cleaning: School Libraries thru Covid

How are school libraries and librarians helping students through this pandemic? How are schools supporting librarians? Kathy Carroll, President of the American Association of School Librarians (AASL), joins We Act Radio’s “Community thru Covid” July 8, at 11:30 Eastern to share perspectives from around the country. Listen (audio only) on We Act Radio or through FB Live for video. Recordings available shortly after show time.

The AASL is a division of the American Library Association (ALA), dedicated to empowering leaders to transform teaching and learning. Through the pandemic, the professional association has been working to assess needs for distance learning and returning to schools, while also working to expand equity, diversity, and inclusion in collections, services, and and library spaces.
